Slimming World Weigh-In: Week 2

I was frustrated to miss my first award - that half stone sticker - by just half a pound!  

To be honest, I was probably a little too ambitious in hoping to loose half a stone in just a fortnight. 



Still, I can’t grumble as I enjoyed a heavy BBQ meal on Saturday night and a calorie laden peanut butter cheesecake for dessert. 

I also indulged in one of two more glasses of alcohol than I had intended. I compromised and stuck with vodka slimline tonics mind, & whilst they’re no where near as palatable (or Instagram-able!) as the tempting fancy cocktails on offer I was chuffed that I had the willpower to actually stick with paint stripper vodka & slimline tonics all night.  

  • Weight Loss This Week: 2lb
  • Target Loss For Next Week: Would be happy with another 2lb loss, but if I can just get that 1/2 pound off for my first award, I’ll be happy. 
  • Favourite Slimming World Meal Made: I really fancied a Chinese in the week, so the Slimming World fake-away's Chinese sweet & sour chicken with cauliflower special fried rice (pictured above) hit the spot. 
  • Learn Anything New?: I can still go out and enjoy myself with minor compromises without it having too much of a detrimental effect on my weight-loss.  


OVERALL TOTAL LOSS: 6.5lb
