Sure Maximum Protection - Review

Despite hearing plenty of praise about Sure Maximum Protection this gushing had previously failed to turn into a purchase for me due to the products seemingly unreasonable price. A fiver for a glorified roll on?

Well, at least those were my thoughts up until a fortnight ago...

Having a gift card burning a hole I finally gave in and popped the deodorant in my basket.

Being one of those January clich├ęs and on my annual health kick I'm currently gymming-it-up 3 times a week. I've always been conscientious about wet patches so have never pushed myself as much as I should. But In the past two weeks I've upped the ante as I'm now 100% bone dry, even after running on an incline for 10 minutes (& trust me - I'm unfit!)

I was also mesmerised by my lack of stink. I wouldn't say (although others might!?) that I ponged too badly on returning from my workout but since using Maximum Protection there is no smell at all.

Maybe it's because the product is 'Formulated with TRIsolid innovative body responsive technology' No. I'm not sure what that means either but what I do know is that this TRIsolid malarkie Unilever speak of seems to be doing the trick.

It's also super moisturising and whilst dry skin under the 'pits is not a problem I ever recall grumbling about, I guess there's nothing wrong with encouraging soft skin all over.

I've use the product for a fortnight and I'd say there's still good months worth left inside the no-frills twist up packaging. When considering my empty £3 aerosol cans hit the recycling bin on an almost weekly basis the price point for this product doesn't seem so bad after all.

So would I recommend it? Sure I would!

  7. I used this during the summer months and loved it. I tried the Dove one too, but don't find that as good - it seemed to flake off and go all over my clothes. For the winter, I use Mitchum roll on, but that does leave your pits very dry!
