Halloween Costume Party

Here's a few snaps from my fancy dress Halloween party which took place at the weekend.

I decided to go as Regan from The Exorcist film. Although everyone kept asking me if I was from The Walking Dead!

The green vomit on my nighty was courtesy of a can of mushy peas and green food colouring.

Not too dissimilar to my morning face!

For my pasty deathly look I used Ben Nye nose & scar wax and watered down Mehron white face paint.

I also used Mehron's tooth decay paint in nicotine ...which was much harder to remove than it was to apply!

My fiance Jamie is a massive Marvel nut but he slipped to the DC dark side to impersonate Heath Ledgers Joker from the scene in the Dark Knight where he dresses up as a nurse.

Why so serious?!

Jamie used to be an NHS nurse himself, so his old tunic watch came in handy for his costume!

Condition of entry was everyone had to be vaccinated to stop the zombie virus (Cherry Sourz!)

The urine sample vodka jellies went down a treat too...

In preparation I spent the best part of Friday afternoon decorating our house suitably, using mostly purchases from Poundland, Asda and The Range.

We put our treasured family portraits up as well...

I also showed off my Nightmare Before Christmas pumpkin carving skills

Here's some of our spooky friends

Do you like fancy dress? Did you dress up this year?! What scary things did you get up to last week?!
