Primark Haul - October 2013

I'm a nosey moo, so naturally my favourite types of posts to read are hauls. I've never posted my own before so thought I'd share what bargains I managed to sniff out in Primark in October 2013

First up is my new drop shoulder oversized textured coat. It was so oversized I had to buy it two sizes down and it's still pretty big! I love the deep, cosy pockets.

Next I purchased this buttonless shirt. The photographs don't really do it justice but it's a lovely thick cotton (Most Primark shirts are flimsy transparent material that require a vest underneath!) These however are not too dissimilar to whats hung in the rails in Zara.

...So of course I bought one in black too!

I also picked up this autumnal patten vest - 'autumnal' and 'vest' isn't two words that usually go together but I thought this would work well under a cardi this time of year.

Talking of cardi's, I picked up this boxy black cable knit thrown over. It's quite oversized but perfect for the changing weather. I also liked the square shape and although it's not the most flattering it can double up as a coat on warmer days.

And this snuggly, fluffy black cardi - Honey Monster eat your heart out!

Despite being super warm I'm not a massive lover of the material of my next purchase. It never seems to wash up great so I often avoid it - butttt - as tartan is all the rage at the moment, along with the reasonable price tag I figured it wouldn't be the end of the world if this is just a one season wonder.

I've no enviable figure like Kim Kardashian or Rochelle from The Saturdays but after seeing a picture of them both rocking PVC high wasted pencil skirts and looking pretty damn awesome - something told me that this would be a great idea for me too. It's not but I love it and knowing I got it for £26 cheaper than Topshop's identical version next door surely justifies this purchase!?

I've eyed up these swishy, shiny, lycra skirts in American Apparel on more than one occasion but never quite made it to the till. Primark to the rescue and suddenly all my Fame & Flashdance dreams came true!

I love my new monochrome shirt - I had to get it in a size bigger as my size had sold out. The sleeves are a little (very) long but I'm convincing myself it's adding to it's charm!

A pleather dress may not be ideal for sweating on the dancefloor in...but at least it's wipe clean when I spill my kebab down me on the way home. (Stay classy Jen!)

Despite my dislike for sheer Primark shirts - I made an exception for this. I really loved the patten & the drop hem at the back. I had to get this a size down from normal as it was massive.

I found these two gorgeous beaded make up bags in the promotional bin with a big red felt pen stating £1.50 each. Despite the fact I already have a ridiculous amount of make up/quaint storage bags which I've run out of uses for - I couldn't not not buy these.

I found some nails in beauty section for a £1 each & bought 'proper' nail glue in Boots to stick these secure. I'm looking forward to wearing my pumpkin plastics on the 31st and the black mattes will go great with my Halloween costume for my Halloween party on Nov 2nd (Watch this space!)

Love this versatile limited edition black & gold rope statement piece.

I also bought this crystallised style neckless too

...and this lovely gold baroque piece that'll jazz up a plain tee when I'm having a lazy day.

Finally, I picked up some Chihuahua print socks. They're not greatest quality but they reminded me of someone at home... what do you think?

Bought anything in Primark lately? Do you like reading haul posts too?
