Dr Martens - Cloggs.co.uk
Cloggs kindly gave me the opportunity to review some footwear using their recently relaunched website.
I must admit I find navigating footwear websites frustrating, especially when trying to narrow down search categories. I often get results returned which is of no relevance to me and miss what I'm actually looking for.
Cloggs is refreshingly different, not only can you search via style of footwear (boots, sandal, etc...) and the search returns only the product type your interested in - you can also search by brand. Want to see all the Converse Cloggs offer on one page? It's just one mouse click from the home page - easy peasey.
I chose Dr Martens* as they are timeless and seem to always be 'in fashion'. They can be worn for park walks with Loki & Boo, used to toughen up a feminine tea dress and are perfect with playsuits at summer festivals.
They're super versatile - and versatile is my favourite word when it comes to my wardrobe.
Their durable wipe clean surface means their puddle & mud resistant too!
Creating an account on Cloggs was easy and before I knew it I had the DMs of choice (Drench) on their way to me and an order confirmation sitting pretty in my email inbox.
The whole shop-to-purchase took less than 5 minutes. Simple! It's been a few weeks since my account creation and I haven't been bombarded with emails from the company, nor with affiliated 3rd party bumph. I'm impressed with this as it's usually a given with a lot of the retail websites I'm currently signed up to.
My dubiousness was with the delivery. I recently ordered boots from a London based retailer and they took 15 days to arrive (I also live in London) - so my expectation of standard delivery was set pretty low, especially as Clogg's delivery is completely free.
I need not have worried though. I placed my order online on the Friday afternoon and my new boots were on my feet by Monday at 2pm. Impressive! I also got an unexpected free canvas tote in my parcel and although I never needed to return my boots, the returns slip included was of the simplistic peel-and-stick label kind.
I love my Dr Martens and now question why I never purchased any sooner!
If you're after Converse, Vans, Hunter, Kickers and more - for men & children not just women - (...and like stress-free online transactions!) then I highly recommend a visit to the new Cloggs website!
...The down side? I've no excuse not to go walkies when it's raining!
Do you own Dr Martens? How would you style yours? What's your favourite brand from the Cloggs website?
