Unless you've been on another planet, I'm sure by now that you're well aware that grungy cut outs are thee only thing for your feet this Autumn Winter.
Ok, so they might not be ideal for a good old British downpour ...but when has fashion ever been practical huh!?
The sort after originals are of course the Jeffery Campbell - Coltrane boots and whilst they're lovely and all, splashing out £160 for a one season wonder isn't the most financially savvy solution to rock this toughened up trend.
Fortunately it hasn't taken long for Coltrane dupes to hit the High Street, with Topshop Arabels and River Island quick on the up take...
...but it's eBay store (& London Covent Garden shop) Red London who are really looking after our pockets. They're currently selling these super similar buckled boots for a rather reasonable £37 - you may have to be quick though as I can see them being a sell out!
Finally - good ol' Primark. These cut out shoes are part of their AW collection which is currently making its way in store. I had been obsessively browsing the footwear dept. on every visit since seeing an image of their upcoming selection from the Our Assembly press day. After a good few weeks of searching I was lucky enough to finally nab a pair at the weekend for a ridiculously reasonable £12.
What do you think of grungy cut outs? Will you be investing in a pair? Where will you buy yours?
PS The Stewart tartan background is actually another recent Primark find, it's a scarf and was only £4 ...perhaps I should do Primark haul post soon!
