Cath Kidston Linen Spray - A TX Maxx Find!
Forget the clothes! I love having a mooch in the home department of TX Maxx. I tend to find branded or ex-department store cookware or utensils at generously discounted prices so always enjoy checking out what's on offer and often leave my local branch with a new item or two...
A few weeks back I noticed peeking out from a shelf a bottle of Cath Kidston Linen Spray. I've bought fabric fresheners in the past and 10 minutes after a squirt the scent has often disappeared, so I was dubious as to whenever this would be much better.
I pulled it off the shelf and noticed it was only £1.99 and the original retail price was a tenner so thought it was worth a try.
I used it on my bed linen between washes and on my curtains to keep my room smelling fresh. I wasn't expecting much due to my previous "meh" experience with fabric sprays but must admit on opening the doors to the various rooms in my house up to 48 hours after the initial squirt, my nose was met with that pleasant, homely, fresh clean linen smell.
Another positive is that it would be unthinkable to leave a bottle of unsightly Fabreeze on your windowsill but thanks to the pretty Kidston packaging and discrete beauty-product-like spray pump bottle I happily allowed it to take pride of place on mine.
I definitely wouldn't pay a tenner for something that although last longer than its rivals is still quite temporary and destined to evaporate BUT at £1.99 for 500ml this is a bargain I'll be sure to pick up again.
...if I can find it!
