7 Beauty Sins !

Sounds scary doesn't it!? I've noticed this tag doing the blogosphere rounds, so I thought it's only right that I jumped on this blogging beauty bandwagon! Here's my completed seven sins! ...What are yours??

1. GREED - What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your more expensive?

Most inexpensive is probably my bargalicious MUA products. Primark do 140 cosmetic pads for £1 as well which I'm always quite smug about purchasing. My most expensive is probably my Mac make up brushes. My favourite perfume: Viktor & Rolf Flower Bomb is also ridiculously pricey although it is worth it as it lingers longer than cheaper smells and you only need a tiny squirt!

2. WRATH - What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Liquid eyeliner. I love the idea of it and love seeing it correctly applied but unfortunately my lack of coordination means that rock god Alice Cooper becomes my unintentional make up inspiration every time I attempt to apply it...

I always seem to sneeze just after applying mascara too & it goes everywhere! ...is that just me?

3. GLUTTONY - What are your most delicious beauty products?

I could sniff Aussie shampoo forever! My late Nan Elsie always used Wrights Cole Tar Soap. It smells so fresh & clean. Perhaps I just like it because it reminds me of her. :) I always buy it now...have a sniff of it next time your out shopping!

4. SLOTH - What beauty products do you neglect due to laziness?

I was shocked when I learned a friend of mine actually does cleanse, tone & moisturise twice daily. I thought that was all a marketing ploy to get us to buy a whole range of a brands products! The most my daily wear of make-up gets is a Simple wetwipe and the occasional moistrise after a bath! Im far too lazy to use 3 skincare products a day. Ooops....

5. PRIDE - What beauty products give you the most self confidence?

Fake tan! Obviously not so confident with orange hands & streaky legs. Fake Bake is great but Rimmels Sunshimmer tan-in-a-can is my fave for a night out as it's instant and I can see what I'm doing. I always hope it doesn't rain and run though! I do like Eyelure lashes as well in 107.

6. LUST - What attributes do you find the most attractive in the opposite sex?

Being an Arsenal fan! Or someone that makes me laugh! I'm not keen on men wearing skinny jeans, or any male that would spend longer than me getting ready is a no go.

7. ENVY - What item would you most like to receive as a gift?

An Urban Decay Naked Palette would be nice, I find it hard to justify buying one for myself ...And although it's not technically a beauty product, a Mulberry Daria Hobo bag would definitely make me feel more beautiful so I'm inclined to put that here too! :)

  1. This post made me laugh! A tip someone told me for liquid eye liner is to apply it looking down, so hold your mirror down so your lid is sort of closed (does this make sense?!) and apply it that way, and also have your elbow resting on something to steady it a bit! Hope this helps? I love eyeliner and can't live without it!
